Classically trained, Ryan has played roles from Shakespeare to Pinter, working at regional theaters such as the Lantern Theater Company, Act II Playhouse, and the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival.
Ryan is a graduate from the acting program at DeSales University. Throughout his training, Ryan had the opportunity to work alongside many highly acclaimed artists including, but not limited to: nationally recognized actor, director, and producer, Henry Woronicz; renown film and Shakespearean actor and playwright, Keith Hamilton-Cobb; Helen Hayes Award winning actor, Eric Hissom; Drama Desk award winning director, Russel Treyz; OBIE award winning director, Taibi Magar; and 12 time Barrymore award nominee and winning director, Matt Pfeiffer.
On stage, Ryan has appeared in Biloxi Blues (Carney), The Diary of Anne Frank (Peter), Julius Caesar (Lucius), Love’s Labour’s Lost (Dumaine), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Lysander) among others. Film credits include Broken Chain, You’re the Worst, Eric Mason, and a principal role in the Boston crime drama web-series, The Naturals. He is currently based out of the Philadelphia tri-state area.
